| 8 of 8 people found the following review helpful  Just as advertised, Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: ECCO Men's Mojave Sandal (Apparel) I ordered these sandals based on the pics and the reviews from other buyers and found them to be just as advertised: very comfortable and just as pictured. They may be the most comfortable hiking/camping sandals I've ever owned based strictly on the cushion of the sole of the sandal. However, the downside of this is the sole is thick and it rolls your ankle when walking on rocks/branches thru the woods (think platform shoes). I found my foot sliding off of the sole to each side if I stepped on the side of a rock/branch no matter how tight I wore my sandals. Never noticed this with my teva's, but I have with these. So if you're ordering them to wear around town, campus, etc, I think they're a 5 star (comfort and looks) but if you're ordering them strictly for hiking thru trails and streams they're not completely stable and I'd give them a 3-4 star. 6 of 6 people found the following review helpful  Proof that you get what you pay for, By This review is from: ECCO Men's Mojave Sandal (Apparel) When I went to the shoe store at my local mall I was very skeptical. The store is very expensive and the salesmen there are very aggressive since they make most of their money on commission (I know this cause I've had friends that worked there). I have never had a pair of sandals that have been comfortable. I am a diabetic and have extremely sensitive feet. There are times when I go to get massages and when they get to my feet I have to have them stop because it hurts just to the touch. When I first tried these sandals on in the store I was immediately impressed to the point of shock. These sandals took absolutely no time to break in (it was as if the sandal was sculpted for my foot). I have only had these sandals for two days and I constantly wear them even around the house like a pair of slippers.
