While the dishwasher was running, I noticed a distinct fragrance in the kitchen but didn't think anything of it. The next day, I ran the dishwasher with a full load, and thought everything was hunkie dorie. But nope! My husband drinks coffee from an old plastic insulated mug (he got from a hospital years ago), and when he drank his morning joe, it tasted like Affresh. He washed it by hand, then soaked the mug for a day, and I even put vinegar in the mug, but it did not take the smell or taste of Affresh out. He was one disappointed man, as he had to toss the mug in the trash. He also complained that everything tasted like Affresh for days. I didn't notice the taste, but I sure did notice the smell. Consequently, I will NEVER buy this product again! There are too many other products on the market that don't cause any problems.
